Randy and Joan visit

I shudder to think what we would have done if Keith's parents had not been here to help during the move. Joan entertained the girls on the car trip and they were a huge help moving things into the house. The next day when we needed to look at apartments, they watched the kids and took photos of the house in case we wanted to try to get our deposit back. They put food in our bellies and distracted us with a fabulous day trip downtown. They helped us to work through a bad situation and when we decided to move all of our stuff out of that big house and up a flight of stairs into a small apartment, they were right on board.

They took so many cute photos of my kids
On Father's day, Joan was prepared with gifts- matching ties for Emmett and Keith. I was empty-handed. I told Keith his present was delivered at the end of March.
Without them, I would not have this photo of Keith on his first day of work. Isn't he handsome?
After spending almost a week with all of our moving out, moving in, moving out and moving back in again with three children and a frazzled daughter-in-law, they took a well deserved trip to the Carolinas. Randy had his last day as an elementary teacher just a few days before flying out to help us and they were ready for a bit of peace and quiet.
After a fun week, they came back to spend the weekend with us and watched our kids so Keith and I could get out for a bit. The girls were super sad when they left! We really love and appreciate everything the do for us!
